This page is for you to learn some cool things about Chasing Shadows!
- The name "Chasing Shadows" was inspired by Brody's dog, who has O.C.D and chases shadows.
-Chasing Shadows originally started in early July 2008 with 3 members, Eric, Brody, and Mike(who played bass).
-Brody and Eric had played in numerous bands before Chasing Shadows, such as:
Fully Loaded(a summer band with 4 members created in summer /08)
High Voltage(created during 2006 with 3 members, this band never saw the light of day)
Aphter Shox(which only Eric was in with two other friends of his)
And a band that never had a name (but was created with the help of some music instructors in 2007, featuring, Brody, Eric, and 2 other members)
-Brody and Eric have been best friends since grade 3
-The song "It's All Over (For You)" was made in 2007 and is really about nothing... just kind of raging out.
-Chasing Shadows has several unreleased songs which they never play or even mention, such as:
Stranger In The Mirror, From The Bottom, Stars, Walking Alone, Never Stop, This Time, and To Be Forgotten...
-Chasing Shadows now has over 30 songs
-During the recording of their latest demo, Chasing Shadows ran into countless preoblems. Including having to record "Stories Never Told" 3 full times to get it right, and Eric having to record the solo to "Leave This World Behind" 6 full times before he could do it without messing up.
-You may have seen Eric use one of 4 guitars on stage. The guitars he uses consist of a Yamaha "Pacifica"(Brown/Black), Squier "Strat"(Red/White), Yamaha "Pacifica"(Black/Chrome), and an ESP "LTD" EC-50(Black).
